PacSun Return Policy: Pacific Sunwear, which used to be called PacSun, sells mostly shoes and lifestyle clothing, and accessories.
But have you ever wondered what would happen if PacSun sent you the wrong items? Well, PacSun return policy will make it easy for you to send the item back.
You can return a product even if you got the wrong one or if you just don’t like it. But these are some important things to remember when you go back to PacSun. Learn how this works so you can shop with less stress.
What is PacSun Return Policy?
PacSun return policy says that items can be sent back within 30 days of the date they were bought. You can handle the return online or in the store.
But there are a few items that aren’t covered by PacSun’s return policy and need to meet some extra conditions to be returned.

PacSun Store Return Policy & Exchanges
You have 60 days to return anything you bought with the original receipt, except for the following:
- Items on final sale
- body jewelry with holes in it and all earrings.
- Underwear
- Swimwear that has been worn or tried on
If you return an item within 60 days with the original receipt, you will get your money back in the same way you paid for it.
If you return an item more than 60 days after you bought it, you can either get a merchandise credit or an exchange for the same item for the price you paid.
PacSun Return Policy At Store Purchase
If you don’t have your receipt, please see the section below called “Without Receipt.”
If you bought the item at a PacSun store, just take it back to the same store for a refund or exchange. You can only return items bought at a PacSun store to one of our PacSun stores.
BOGO (buy one, get one free) offers The policy on returns and exchanges: You can exchange any BOGO item that costs $0.00 for something of the same or lesser value.
Items that were charged $0.00 but were a BOGO will not be refunded. Requests for a refund or an exchange of a qualifying item will be handled based on the amount that was originally charged.
PacSun Return Policy Without Receipt
Original receipts do not gift receipts or exchange receipts.
If you return something without a receipt, you will either get a new item or a credit for the current selling price of the item you are returning.
If you paid for the item with a debit or credit card and would like a refund, please fill out the information below.
- Name, Phone Number, and Mailing Address (required)
- Email address (required)
- Purchase date (month, date, and year)
- Where to return an item to the store (city/state OR store)
- Amount Spent in Total
- The last four digits of the credit or debit card used for the refund
PacSun Return Policy Online
In this method, you must send an online request to return. Go to their order locator and fill out the information they ask for. Click “Start return” and then follow the steps to send your item back to their warehouse.
Also, when you return something to PacSun online, you do not have to pay the shipping fees upfront. Instead, a $7 shipping charge is taken out of the refund.
PacSun Exchange Policy
As we already said, PacSun doesn’t accept exchanges because of the two things below. They think that their style changes quickly. So, they only have a small amount of stock because they keep making new versions of upcoming fashion trends.
Remember, though, that you can always use the Pacsun return policy to return a product within 30 days (or after for a gift card or merchandise card) and buy a new item in the store with the gift card, merchandise card, or the amount of your refund.
What is PacSun Refund Policy
According to the PacSun Refund Policy, if you return a product within 30 days of buying it, you get a refund in the same way you paid for it. Even if you don’t return the item within 30 days, PacSun return policy gives you 60 days to do so.
However, you can only get a refund in the form of a PacSun gift card or merchandise card. It can take up to 20 days for the company to get your return and start the refund process. They will let you know how your refund is going by email.
PacSun Refund Process
Please give the money 3-5 business days to show up on your payment method after you’ve sent back the item.
- Refunds to a debit card or credit card will show up on the next statement for that card.
- Refunds for eGift cards or gift cards will go back to the same eGift card or gift card that they were bought with.
- If you paid with a check, you’ll get your money back after 7 days.
Exchanges without tags can only be made for the current selling price or for the item that was returned.
If you return an item more than 60 days after you bought it, you can either get a merchandise credit or an exchange for the same item for the price you paid.
PacSun Refund Timeframe
If your refund hasn’t shown up in your account after three to five business days, we can give you a reference number that you can give to your payment processor to speed up the process.

- Once you give us the information we need, they will get back to you within one business day.
PacSun Return Policy Exceptions
This return policy has a few exceptions. First of all, you can only return swimwear that hasn’t been worn and still has its original tags and sanitary panels.
If you want to return something you bought with PayPal or Venmo, you have to send it back in the mail.
You can return purchases made with BitPay in a store, but you’ll only get store credit. Follow the instructions for a return by mail to get your money back in your BitPay account.
When you return an item, you can only get a refund and not an exchange. The exchange policy will explain why this is the case.
Non-Returnable Items
There are some things that PacSun says can’t be returned. Some personal items can’t be sent back because of things like hygiene and safety.
Also, you can’t return or exchange items that are sold out (FOG essentials, PS Reserve, and gift bags). The following items cannot be returned:

Extended Holiday Return Policy
PacSun also has a longer return policy for the holidays. If you buy something in a store between November 1 and December 14, you can return it until January 15. PacSun’s regular return policy applies to all purchases made before or after these dates.

COVID-19 has hit PacSun the same way it has hit every other company. PacSun says that the uncertainty caused by the pandemic may add a few days to the time it takes to ship, return, and get your money back.
